Diploma Room Leader Role Overview

The Diploma Room Leader will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and development to children in a Brisbane campus environment.

This role involves working collaboratively with a supportive team to create a nurturing atmosphere that fosters the acquisition of skills essential for life and learning.

  • Ensure child safety and well-being by actively supervising and engaging with children at all times.
  • Deliver exceptional childcare services that meet the highest standards.
  • Develop trusting relationships with each child through warm and responsive interactions.
  • Create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children at the campus.
  • Provide childcare services that comply with national regulations and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
Key Responsibilities

The key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Supervising and interacting with children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Delivering high-quality childcare services that meet the highest standards.
  • Building trusting relationships with each child through regular and meaningful interactions.
  • Creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children at the campus.
  • Providing childcare services that meet national regulatory requirements and support the Early Years Learning Framework.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
  • At least two years of full-time work experience in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
