Lead Educator Pre-Kindy Room Exceeding Service

About Us:

We are a reputable childcare centre in the Aspley area, renowned for our commitment to the local community and low staff turnover.

We prioritise creating a supportive and fun environment for children to learn and grow. The relationships between children and educators are integral to creating a positive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for running the pre-kindy room and ensuring the care and safety of children, supported by an assistant educator, educational leader and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run the pre-kindy room and ensure the care and safety of children
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve centre goals
  • Maintain open communication with parents and carers
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Children's Services

• Current First Aid certification

• Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification

• Valid Blue Card

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Experience:

• At least 2 years' experience as a room leader in a childcare setting
