Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

A career as an Early Childhood Educator at Eden Academy in Sydney offers a unique opportunity to work with children and support their growth.

The role involves working in a full-time, 5-day position in our Kindergarten room, supporting the lead educator. We welcome candidates who are currently studying towards their qualification, provided they have solid hands-on experience.

You will work alongside a highly experienced and exceptionally strong educator, with access to extensive funding for resources and plenty of opportunities to engage children through excursions and incursions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Professional, polished presence and warm approach
  • Natural curiosity and confidence when connecting with families and the local community
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver inspiring Kindergarten programs with heart and intention
  • Two professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor in a childcare or education setting
