About the Role

GFG-Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team in a key strategic role. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical part in achieving sustainable continuous improvement of asset reliability through proactive work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct reliability analysis to identify asset performance gaps or opportunities for improvement through the application of Reliability Centred Maintenance principles.
  • Evaluate the need for equipment capital replacement plans, major overhauls, or other initiatives to complement our overall improvement strategy.
  • Improve the condition monitoring and lubrication program.
  • Facilitate training sessions for maintenance and operations personnel to enhance their understanding of their role in asset reliability.
  • Investigate equipment failures to determine the root cause and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze equipment failures, downtime, and maintenance activities to devise strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure high safety standards and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Reliability Centred Maintenance principles and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to drive improvement initiatives.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and reliability.
