About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist and Dental Assistant to join our team at Dulwich Dental Services. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients
  • Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment
  • Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists
  • Provide instrument sterilization and maintain infection control standards
  • Meet and greet patients, provide a great first impression
  • Book and amend appointments, answer the phone, and update patient records
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
  • Make patients aware of dental services and offers
  • Handle payments and access sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in Australia as a dental assistant or dental receptionist
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
  • Willingness to learn dental assisting or reception on the job
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for customer service and patient care
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with patients in a cheerful and light-hearted manner
