Clinical Leadership Opportunity
Job Description:As a senior clinical leader in the mental health service, this role offers an opportunity to drive clinical excellence and innovation, while promoting positive patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing clinical competence within mental health nursing practice, practicing according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices, and role modeling high standards of clinical practice among multidisciplinary teams.
This leadership position involves developing and delivering training and education, providing support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families, and working within a Recovery Model of Care framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advancing clinical competence within mental health nursing practice.
- Practicing according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing.
- Role modeling and influencing high standards of clinical practice among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Developing and delivering training and education, providing support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families.
- Working within the Recovery Model of Care, while clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework.
Additionally, the successful candidate must possess business acumen required to promote the service and drive growth, establish professional working relationships with multidisciplinary members of the service, maintain a safe work environment, communicate clearly and document legibly, and have primary day shift allocation within Monday to Friday business hours.
Qualifications:- Registered with AHPRA.
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing).
- Post-graduate qualification in a relevant field of specialty.
