Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with foster carers to provide comprehensive support to children, addressing their physical, emotional, and educational needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and carers to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Child Safety Services, community agencies, and other stakeholders to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Provide on-call services through a scheduled roster, ensuring that children receive consistent support and guidance at all times.
  • Identify training and development needs for foster carers, enhancing their skills and knowledge to better support children's needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a Certificate IV level or higher in Community Services (Child Protection) with significant experience in a similar field.
