Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Relief Collector to join our team at Healius. As a Pathology Relief Collector, you will play a vital role in collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, providing exceptional customer service and quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting blood and non-blood samples with care and attention to detail
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for every patient and sample
• Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
• Liaising with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure smooth operations

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection
• Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
• Organizational skills, with strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
• A valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
• A working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work

Requirements

• Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B and two doses of the Covid19 vaccination, are a requirement of this role
