Our team is passionate about developing products that impact people's lives every day. We're looking for a proactive and skilled Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rydalmere.
The RoleAs a Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimising maintenance processes and enhancing operational efficiencies. Your primary responsibility will be to improve the reliability and performance of our plant equipment by developing and executing robust reliability engineering strategies.
- Equipment Reliability: Lead initiatives to identify and resolve equipment reliability issues through detailed root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Data and Metrics: Establish and maintain systems for collecting, analysing, and reporting maintenance data. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement. Train site personnel in data collection techniques and failure analysis processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine uptime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Collaborate with stakeholders to implement lean manufacturing techniques and explore automation opportunities.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, including developing and delivering training programs. Collaborate with process engineers and other technical staff to establish and maintain maintenance best practices.
- Project Support: Support the planning and execution of maintenance-related projects, including evaluating and implementing new technologies and equipment upgrades.
- Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation related to maintenance practices and engineering standards.
- Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in reliability engineering or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis
- Experience in developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement processes
- Technical leadership abilities to guide and support the maintenance team
- Experience with a CMMS, preferably SAP (PM)
- Microsoft office suite competency
