Job Description

The Procurement Expert role involves assisting in procurement activities for high-profile infrastructure projects. This includes ensuring time, cost, quality, safety, environmental targets, and client expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scout supplier markets, manage end-to-end RFQ processes, and engage relevant suppliers during the pre-bidding, bidding, and post-bidding phases to maintain commercial competitiveness and offer validity.
  • Issue RFQs to shortlisted suppliers and lead the RFQ process; evaluate proposals for major categories including material, equipment and plant, subcontractor works, and services and deliver the commercial outcome within a defined timeframe.
  • Manage all external and internal stakeholder communication to ensure the procurement process is undertaken in an effective and compliant manner.
  • Manage supplier relationships and familiarise with the supply markets, especially understanding how to promote safety, environmental and sustainability aspects in procurement.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience gained in Supply chain and Procurement Departments in multinational contexts.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain or Engineering.
  • Negotiation techniques and strategies.
  • High confidence in analysing data, and making reports to support the decision-making process.
