Job Summary

This role will support the Project Managers in the running of the BMD Group Safety, Environment, and Quality Systems across project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the development and implementation of safety, environmental, and quality standards that address all compliance and due diligence requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety, environmental, and quality audits and inspections.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on safety, environmental, and quality performance.
  • Assist with education and training of BMD staff in the areas of safety, environmental, and quality systems.
  • Develop and implement system changes and improvements.

Requirements

  • Qualification in work health and safety (minimum of Cert IV).
  • Qualification in training and assessment desirable.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry highly regarded.
  • Current knowledge of legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
