Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work on assessment or therapy-based caseloads including Adult and/or Paediatric clients.

About The Role
  • Assessment or therapy-based caseloads including Adult and/or Paediatric clients
  • Opportunity to develop clinical expertise and work in a collaborative team environment

  • Functional / Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Support Needs recommendations
  • Assistive Technology Assessments for people with simple and complex needs
  • Fine Motor and Gross Motor therapy
  • Housing needs Assessments including SIL /SDA or ILO accommodation options
  • 1:1 Therapy - evidence based and goal orientated interventions
  • 24-Hour seating and positioning assessment and implementation of recommendations
  • Adult Therapy (including group or 1:1 sessions)
  • Manual Handling Assessments and Training
  • Developmental Milestone Assessments for early intervention (0-5) and/or school aged (5-12) children
  • Sensory Assessments and Interventions
  • Emotional Regulation and Behavioural strategies working with Parents/Carers/Teachers

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Current driver's license and own vehicle
  • Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
