Defence Consulting Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our defence business in Australia. As part of a mature global team, you will benefit from guidance and expertise of technical leaders from other parts of the global business to grow the Australian defence consulting practice.

About the Role:
  • Manage all aspects of consultancy assignments for clients, including allocation, estimating, tendering, planning, execution and close out.
  • Develop strategies to grow our product and service range offering in Defence Consulting expertise.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure work is completed in a safe and profitable manner, on time, to budget and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with our procedures, corporate requirements and systems.
  • Provide specialist engineering guidance and expertise, including as the interface to global Subject Matter Experts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge of Defence market in Australia and associated key stakeholders highly advantageous.
  • Experience with consulting best practice or ability to guide, check and approve other outputs.
  • Experience in managing teams of technical SMEs, including input from remote/global SMEs within a project delivery environment.
  • Excellent technical, project management and communication skills to manage delivery of strategic and technical advisory engagements.
  • Demonstrable experience in nuclear implicated design and maintenance of infrastructure planning or platform systems development and optioneering desirable.
  • Project management of resources and timelines and ability to manage budgets.
