Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for packing and preparing long-length aluminum products for dispatch while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.

The role involves performing tasks such as:

  • Packing long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg) into skips or onto bases for dispatch.
  • Shrink-wrapping, stock-taking, RF scanning, and quality-checking to ensure profiles match products.
  • Assembling materials into square shapes for dispatch and preparing crates.
  • Operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and forklift for cleating purposes (if licensed).
  • Maintaining adherence to safe work procedures, including proper handling, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment.
Working Hours

This is a day and night casual shift role, working Monday to Friday, with a 15% loading on night shifts worked. Penalty rates apply for shifts over 10 hours.

Key Skills

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

  • Previous labouring and packing experience, ideally in a factory environment.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks (training will be provided).
  • A willingness to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
  • Current forklift license (preferred but not essential).
  • Availability to work day, afternoon and night shifts rostered Monday to Friday.
  • Own transport and current driver's license due to shift requirements.
