Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company vehicles to project sites and vendors for materials delivery and pickup, ensuring a valid A class driver's license is held.
  • Operate forklifts, with a desirable forklift license, to efficiently manage warehouse operations.
  • Utilize dogman/rigging experience to sling loads and operate overhead cranes in the workshop, with a desirable dogman/rigging ticket.
  • Hold a valid white card and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Pickle and wash stainless steel fabrications in the wash bay, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Assist workshop tradesmen when required, providing support and expertise.
  • Clean the workshop and machines, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Empty garbage bins and perform additional cleaning duties in the lunchroom and toilets when the cleaning person is absent.

Requirements

  • A valid A class driver's license.
  • Desirable forklift license.
  • Must have a confined space ticket.
  • Dogman/rigging experience, with a desirable dogman/rigging ticket.
  • A valid white card.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ownership of a vehicle.

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Work hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
  • Must have full working rights.
