About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Fuse Recruitment. As a key member of our insurance broking team, you will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring all their needs are identified and met through proactive service delivery, account management, and account retention.
  • Provide consistent client updates and replies within agreed service timeframes, ensuring excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Assist with complex client queries and complaints, negotiating with insurers and clients on risks outside of the underwriting guidelines.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve individual and team financial targets, understanding client financials and providing appropriate support regarding debt management, payment enquiries, and settlements.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an insurance broking position, with a proven track record of managing and growing a substantial portfolio.
  • Tier 1 accreditation / Insurance Broking qualification, with a strong understanding of commercial and domestic insurance.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
