About Our Early Childhood Program

We are a not-for-profit community kindergarten with a dedicated team of educators committed to excellence in early childhood education through safe, guided, and supported play.

Our centre offers extended hours care for children after their kindergarten program until 5:30 pm.

The Role

This role is responsible for the effective operation and management of our extended hours care program in accordance with our policies, standards, and directives from our management committee.

You will work with a team of experienced educators to deliver a high-quality educational program aligned with the national EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

  • Develop and implement an educational program that meets the needs of all children.
  • Observe, plan for, and document children's learning experiences.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, colleagues, and parents/caregivers.
Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum 2-year qualification relevant to early childhood education (e.g., Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care).
  • Experience working in early childhood settings.
  • A current Certificate in Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education & Care Setting – HLTAID004.
  • A current Blue Card (Paid Employee).
  • Child protection training is advantageous.
