We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at McKenzie, providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver person-centered care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents are met.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with our Registered Nurses to identify and address resident needs, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Participate in recreational activities and programs, promoting resident engagement and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
- Experience in caring for individuals with dementia (desirable).
- Commitment to working a minimum of 4 shifts per fortnight, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts.
- Minimum 6 months' experience as a PCA in the aged care sector or disability services (desirable).
- Reliability, flexibility, and a strong commitment to work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with older adults.
