About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aerial Sensor Technician to join our team at Fugro. As a key member of our Inspection and Monitoring (Land) team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our geospatial data collection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Aviation Operations to ensure survey systems and equipment are prepared and maintained for geo data collection in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide technical support to Survey Operations in Australia and New Zealand, from the office and in the field if required
  • Support and maintain systems involving embedded computers, lasers, optics, electronics, cameras, and navigation systems
  • Manage inventory and prepare freight for systems and spares
  • Install and demobilize systems in aircraft and provide equipment logistics support
  • Develop design modifications and improve maintenance documentation as needed

Requirements

  • Skilled in diagnosing and analyzing complex system faults
  • Proficient in computer operations, troubleshooting, and networking
  • Strong communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management and adaptable to various work environments
