Software Engineering Manager

At The Boeing Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and integration of software for the MQ-28 Mission Segment software.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of software engineers in the design, development, testing, and integration of software for the MQ-28 Mission Segment software
- Overseeing the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of software components
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development efficiency, productivity, and quality
- Participating in Agile Planning Events and day-to-day oversight and execution of the SCRUM teams

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse team and stakeholder group
- Experience in leading and project managing Software Engineering or Information Technology teams
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Practices and SCRUM Master role
- Experience with security governance, compliance, and risk or working in classified environments and with security-controlled material
- Personable and dedicated to the growth, development, and success of your team
- An Australian Defence Security clearance up to NV1 and meet the requirements of various Export licenses in use across the Business
