Dynamic Food & Beverage Leadership

Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel is seeking a skilled and hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our café team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role offers regular morning and weekend shifts.

In this key leadership position, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of our café, ensuring guests enjoy first-class service and presentation every time. You will lead by example, inspire your team, and work closely with the kitchen to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily floor operations for efficient, high-quality service.
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to achieve operational and service goals.
  • Become knowledgeable about our food and beverage offerings to confidently promote them to guests.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent quality and presentation.
  • Supervise, train, and support Food & Beverage Attendants to perform at their best.

Note: This position is based in Gladstone.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12 months in a supervisory role within hospitality.
  • At least three years' experience in a restaurant, cafe or hotel environment.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Strong self-motivation and the confidence to lead a team.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (advantageous but not essential).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
