Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled SAP BusinessObjects Reporting Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal within the insurance sector, and the selected candidate will be part of a reputable organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and building reports using BusinessObjects v4.2, with a preference for knowledge of v4.3.
  • Develop and create reports using Cognos and possess strong SQL development skills.
  • Reverse engineer existing Cognos reports, even when documentation is sparse or absent.
  • Engage effectively with business stakeholders to facilitate:
    • Requirements gathering
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Product Validation Testing (PVT)
    • Addressing warranty period fixes.
  • Exhibit strong documentation capabilities, ensuring clarity and completeness in reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with SAP BusinessObjects and Web Intelligence is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills to support reverse engineering tasks.
  • Ability to articulate business objectives clearly and effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in designing and building BusinessObjects Universes.
