Civil Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team in Adelaide, Australia. As a key member of our Design and Drafting team, you will be responsible for designing and detailing all aspects of our infrastructure projects.

You will work collaboratively with Engineers to create high-quality designs and deliver results-driven solutions for our clients. Your expertise will be essential in supporting our Transport, Local Government & Development and Water teams for all infrastructure design solutions relating to Roads & Highways, Transport Structures, Water & Wastewater Infrastructure projects, Local Roads, Stormwater Design, Municipal & Urban Development projects.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience producing documentation utilising AutoCAD.
  • Minimum 3-5 years civil design experience in one or more of the following areas: Road Reconstruction, Local Road & LATM Design, Public Realm Design, Land Division Design, Bulk Earthworks & Stormwater Design and Water & Wastewater infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Austroads and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Experience in design for State Government Road authorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a strong focus on the production of quality outputs.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 AUD per annum.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. You will have a strong understanding of civil design principles and practices, as well as experience working with engineers and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will have:

  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Civil design experience in at least one of the following areas: Road Reconstruction, Local Road & LATM Design, Public Realm Design, Land Division Design, Bulk Earthworks & Stormwater Design, and Water & Wastewater infrastructure
  • Austroads and Australian Standards knowledge
  • Design experience for State Government Road authorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
