About Us:
Cocoon SDA Care provides support staff to individuals with complex care and high physical needs. Our goal is to deliver person-centered care that prioritizes the unique needs and preferences of each participant.
The Role:
- We are seeking experienced caregivers who can provide support and care to individuals with challenging behaviors.
- You will work in Supported Disability Accommodation to provide 24/7 care and support to those with medical needs and manual handling requirements.
- Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, while promoting independence and autonomy.
- You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each participant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support Disability or equivalent.
- Experience in managing participants with challenging behaviors.
- First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training or willing to obtain.
- Current Driver's License.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme NDIS Worker Screening check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Good command over the English language.
