The role of an In-Home Service Assistant (IHSA) is multifaceted, involving providing one-on-one care to help clients live comfortably in their own homes. This includes assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement, with the goal of promoting independence and enhancing the overall quality of life for our clients.

We are seeking experienced IHSA's to join our team in the Loddon Mallee region, specifically Bendigo, Marong, and Eppalock. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our clients, while also being part of a supportive and inclusive work environment.

  • Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
  • Work with clients one-on-one to promote independence and enhance their quality of life
  • Provide personal care or domestic duties in clients' homes
  • Assist clients to stay connected to their communities through activities they love

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
  • Either Unqualified or completed and currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification
