About the Role

The Training Officer will play a pivotal role in delivering and coordinating comprehensive training and development activities, encompassing data analysis into our database.

This involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as supporting investigative work following incidents or identified issues under our contract.

  • Coordinate and ensure delivery of the induction program for all staff members.
  • Organize, develop, or source training programs to meet the training matrix and address employee needs.
  • Conduct nationally recognized training and assessment of corrective practice qualifications.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in case management database as required.
  • Produce daily and weekly compliance and performance reports.
  • Maintain and update all contractually required competencies and resources.
  • Conduct ongoing contractually required refresher training across the state.
  • Identify and remediate incorrect data capture.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Cert III in Correctional Practice, and relevant qualifications in compliance and auditing.

They will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and flexibility and resilience in a constantly changing environment.

Necessary Requirements:

Australian Work Rights, National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test are mandatory for this position.
