We're seeking Intern Pharmacists to join our team in Metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia for 2025.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. As an Intern Pharmacist at National Pharmacies:

  • You'll work alongside experienced preceptors who will provide daily guidance and development opportunities.
  • You'll participate in store rotations to experience different operating environments.
  • You'll attend two full-day off-site workshops with guest speakers on various subjects.
  • You'll have access to exam preparation workshops.
  • You'll be exposed to a wide range of products and services, including sleep apnoea, vaccinations, dose administration aids, and medschecks.
  • You'll have opportunities for ongoing employment after successful general registration.

As an Intern Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role in enabling us to fulfil our purpose by:

  • Providing extraordinary customer service and consulting with customers to ensure they receive the most appropriate advice for their health needs.
  • Providing patient-centred care to our customers and members.
  • Being a team player and having a willingness to learn.
  • Assisting pharmacists to process prescriptions correctly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrating the value of National Pharmacies membership to our customers.

To excel as a National Pharmacies Intern Pharmacist, you should demonstrate:

  • The ability to convert your university studies into practical workplace skills.
  • A genuine desire to work in community pharmacy.
  • The ability to think quickly, communicate effectively, and offer solutions in a fast-paced environment.

If you have frontline customer service experience, you'll be highly regarded.
