About the Role

We are part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, which provides comprehensive healthcare services to the community. Our pharmacy department is dedicated to providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, and we are seeking a qualified pharmacist to lead our antimicrobial stewardship activities.

Salary

The successful applicant will be offered a salary range of $104,180 - $111,746 per annum, plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing expert advice on antimicrobial prescribing practices
  • Liaising with medical and nursing staff to implement antimicrobial stewardship strategies
  • Developing and reviewing guidelines for antimicrobial use
  • Auditing clinical practice related to antimicrobial prescribing
  • Leading and participating in virtual antimicrobial stewardship ward rounds

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
  • Previous experience in antimicrobial stewardship or infectious diseases roles
