Job Overview

The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily room allocations and task sheets for Room Attendants and Service Attendants.

This role involves managing lost property enquiries, maintaining accurate records using ITRAK, monitoring internal department calls and guest requests, and supporting administrative tasks including reporting, amenities tracking, and shift handovers.

Additionally, the coordinator will conduct room inspections and assist with cleaning/inspection duties during PM shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily room allocations and task sheets for Room Attendants and Service Attendants.
  • Manage lost property enquiries and maintain accurate records using ITRAK.
  • Monitor and respond to internal department calls and guest requests.
  • Support administrative tasks including reporting, amenities tracking, and shift handovers.
  • Conduct room inspections and assist with cleaning/inspection duties during PM shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and escalate issues as needed.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must be a confident communicator and natural organiser with a strong attention to detail. You should thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy being the go-to team member for coordination and support.

Previous housekeeping leadership or office experience is highly desirable. Systems and computer proficiency, including a sound understanding of Microsoft Suite applications, are also essential.
