About the Role

This is a key position in our organisation, responsible for ensuring the effective management of safety, health, environment, and quality within our Sydney Terminal.

Main Accountabilities

  • Ensure company and regulatory compliance through regular site inspections.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure local Procedures compliance with Vopak and industry standards.
  • Participate in Hazop, Risk Assessment, and other hazard identification processes.
  • Review and approve permit-to-work related safety documentation.
  • Facilitate WHSE Committee meetings and participate in the planning of SHEQ activities.
  • Maintain and update safety databases, including the Risk Register.
  • Report incidents and assist with investigations as per Vopak's Incident reporting and investigation Standard.
  • Assist in injury management and return-to-work initiatives.
  • Represent the Company in dealings with SafeWork NSW and NSW EPA.
  • Generate and coordinate SHEQ reporting requirements for Sydney Terminal.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvements to eliminate Safety, Health, and Environmental incidents.
