About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Manager to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in physical, personnel, and information security to protect and safeguard our employees, assets, visitors, and information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a nationally geographically dispersed team to deliver security operations to our business on both our premises and customer sites.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize security threats.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a positive culture of security awareness and compliance.
  • Travel to respond to incidents and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Qualifications in Protective Security and relevant experience in Defence, Government Agencies, or Defence Industry.
  • Strong technical subject matter knowledge and experience in the practical application of the PSPF, DSPF, and ISM.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
