Who are we seeking?

  • Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists (eligible for full AHPRA registration)
  • Exercise Physiologists (eligible for ESSA membership as an AEP)
  • Psychologists (eligible for Provisional or Full AHPRA registration)
  • Rehabilitation Counsellors (eligible for Full ASORC membership).

What does the position entail?

Role Overview

Rehabilitation Consultants play a crucial role in assisting individuals recovering from injuries, facilitating their return to work and everyday life post-injury or illness. This role is dynamic, collaborative, and immensely fulfilling. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting various assessments and managing cases across diverse customer portfolios;
  • Supporting individuals in their recovery and reintegration into their previous or new employment utilizing your clinical expertise and knowledge gained from your recent education;
  • Building and nurturing relationships with healthcare professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for clients.

About the Program

This comprehensive 12-month program features top-tier mentorship from experienced Procare staff within their respective fields. You will gain exposure to a variety of working styles, aiding you in developing your own distinctive approach.

Program Structure

Initial 1-3 Months

  • Welcome package upon arrival
  • Online induction training covering both technical and interpersonal skills
  • Daily support from local colleagues and a designated mentor
  • Weekly one-on-one meetings with your Team Leader
  • Training and support for report writing through our Quality Assurance Program

Next 3-6 Months

  • Three-month progress check-in
  • Weekly supervision sessions with your assigned mentor
  • Ongoing case evaluations and Quality Assurance support
  • Access to an incentive program
  • Development plan for the next six months

Final 6-12 Months

  • Access to specialized service mentoring to achieve your goals
  • Celebration of completing your graduate year
  • Engagement with fellow graduates nationwide
