Job Description

As a seasoned leader in digital engineering, you will be instrumental in driving our strategic initiatives in the defence and national security sector. You will leverage cutting-edge digital engineering solutions to enhance national security capabilities and contribute to EY's thought leadership in this space.

This role will be pivotal in growing and solving Defence and National Security client business and technology challenges as well as cloud technologies. You will lead the development and execution of digital engineering strategies for defence and national security clients ensuring alignment with broader goals and objectives for Defence & National Security.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the defence and national security sectors including at C-Suite understanding their unique challenges and delivering tailored solutions. You will drive the adoption of sovereign classified cloud technologies within defence and national security projects ensuring scalability security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

In addition, you will oversee the delivery of complex digital engineering projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and to the highest quality standards. You will also contribute to publishing insights and best practices that position EY as a leader in the defence and national security space.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 15 years experience in technology strategy architecture with a strong focus on defence and national security. Experience in cloud technologies is essential. A proven track record of leading teams building organisational capabilities sales and managing large-scale projects in a consulting environment is also required.

You must have a deep understanding of digital engineering principles cloud architectures and technologies relevant to defence and national security. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences are also essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field is preferred. A Master's degree or MBA is also an advantage. You must hold a Top Secret Positive vetted security clearance as required by market sector ideally with OSA.
