Job Description:Hennessy Catholic College is a comprehensive school for students from Years 7 to 12. The college proudly caters to students from Young, Boorowa, Cootamundra, Harden-Murrumburrah, Grenfell, and surrounding towns. Founded on the charisms of the Presentation Sisters and Christian Brothers in 1925, Hennessy has a proud tradition of addressing community and student needs.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of employees and a student cohort of 426 in delivering contemporary quality learning opportunities.
- Build inclusive communities and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
- Promote the Vision and share and witness to Catholic faith and traditions.
The Principal of Hennessy must possess a postgraduate qualification in Religious Education or Theological Studies or be willing to undertake studies and complete within four years of appointment. Academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master's degree or five-year equivalent) are also required. A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) and NESA Accreditation are necessary for this role.
