Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic hospital environment.

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by replenishing hospital imprest areas, acting as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members, and liaising with other staff as required.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Replenish hospital imprest areas with essential supplies.
  • Act as a liaison between teams, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
  • Support safety and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in supply or procurement, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Customer service excellence and professional conduct when dealing with internal customers, external suppliers, and other stakeholders.
