We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic hospital environment.
Job Summary:The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by replenishing hospital imprest areas, acting as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team, promoting positive team culture, communicating and offering help to team members, and liaising with other staff as required.
Main Responsibilities:- Replenish hospital imprest areas with essential supplies.
- Act as a liaison between teams, promoting collaboration and open communication.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy are maintained at all times.
- Support safety and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Previous experience in supply or procurement, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Customer service excellence and professional conduct when dealing with internal customers, external suppliers, and other stakeholders.
