Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a heavy rigid vehicle safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules and minimize delays.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, ensuring secure and proper handling to prevent damage or loss.
  • Plan routes to optimize delivery efficiency and adhere to all road safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee the vehicle's safe operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license.
  • Proven experience as an HR driver with a clean driving record and no traffic violations.
  • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle long hours and regular travel.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical workload requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
