As a compassionate support worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community. Your responsibilities will include providing personalized care and companionship to help them maintain their independence.

The Role
  • Visiting clients in their own homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as showering and medication management
  • Engaging in various activities at our respite facilities to promote social interaction and well-being

Services may include:

  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Shopping and meal preparation
  • Respite and social support
  • Community access and outings

Our ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous caregiving experience is an advantage, but not mandatory. We encourage applicants who are eager to learn and grow with our organization.

Requirements
  • Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Certificate III Individual Support Ageing or equivalent qualification
  • Ability to assist with client medication certification or willingness to attain
  • Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
  • Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
  • Working with Children Check Clearance
  • COVID-19 vaccination
