Job SummaryWe are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Imaging Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our team at Peninsula Health. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations and producing diagnostic images in line with our clinical practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound examinations in Obstetrics and Gynecology using state-of-the-art equipment
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with our clinical practice guidelines
- Liaise with other modality stakeholders and management to ensure department operations are efficient and effective
- Prioritize workflow and manage the operations of the rostered modality
- ASAR membership or eligibility for registration with the ASAR and formal Ultrasound qualifications
- Able to produce accurate written documentation using clear, concise language
- Confident communication skills and ability to convey ideas effectively
- Proficient in common software applications and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong planning and prioritization skills to achieve outcomes
- Higher qualification allowance available subject to eligibility
