About the Role:

As a Senior Solutions Designer at Queensland Rail, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR functions by analyzing, reviewing, and documenting processes. You will collaborate with business units, manage stakeholders, and coordinate with solution teams to effectively achieve targeted outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on potential solutions to enhance current practices that are cost-effective, consistent, and integrated.
  • Scoping, designing, and implementing system solutions through stakeholder engagement to meet business needs.
  • Developing and executing test management plans for user acceptance testing and defect management of People Systems to ensure alignment with project, enterprise, and business objectives before signoff and implementation.
  • Collaborating with internal and external IT teams/vendors to create workflow documentation, configure systems, manage requirements, maintain process models and maps, participate in user testing, and provide post-deployment support for Queensland Rail's people systems.
  • Contributing to change management efforts associated with business process re-engineering by assisting in the development and delivery of briefings to a diverse range of stakeholders.

This candidate should be open to learning and eager to grow, demonstrating a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in solutions design, particularly within HR systems.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or ServiceNow is advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with system testing and user acceptance processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve business objectives.
