Rural Care Placement Opportunity


The Rural Locum Assistance Program plays a key role in supporting rural workforce capacity by delivering healthcare services to remote regions.


We seek experienced and qualified professionals for short-term placements in aged care and community settings across Australia.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred care and support to clients with varying needs.
  • Developing, coordinating, and implementing care plans tailored to individual client goals.
  • Supporting clients with mobility, including safe operation of equipment.
  • Collaborating with families, carers, and teams to ensure holistic care delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in line with organisational standards.
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive environment for clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in aged care, including dementia care and manual handling.
