Key Roles and Responsibilities

The Air Strategist Team Member plays a pivotal role within the air contacting area, driving financial growth for the Flight Centre Travel Group.

This dynamic position demands an individual with strong leadership skills, adept at navigating airline contracts through innovative strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing airline partnerships to maximise earning opportunities while creating competitive products.
  • Managing day-to-day relationships with airline partners, ensuring a delicate balance between revenue generation and product innovation.
  • Supporting the Supplier Relationship Manager and collaborating with frontline sales staff to convert bookings into successful transactions.
Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the air travel industry, coupled with at least 2 years of expertise within the airline sector.
  • An in-depth understanding of airfares and proficiency in Sabre/Galileo and Excel software.
  • Leadership and product management experience is highly desirable.
