Maintenance & Engineering Lead

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and optimizing our maintenance and engineering functions. We operate in nearly every corner of the globe and work with some of the premium brands in the hardware and construction products industry.

  • We are looking for a self-starter who is curious about the world and always looking for ways to add value and make continuous improvements.
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with the site safety leadership team to champion safety programs and conducting risk assessments to develop safe working methods.
  • You will oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and minimize costs.
  • You will utilize lean methodologies to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive value-added activities throughout the manufacturing process.
  • You will supervise and develop talent within the production support team, as well as manage external contractors for onsite maintenance and capital programs.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor of engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering/maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to building and driving a safety culture.
  • Experience leading a multi-function maintenance team in a manufacturing facility.
  • Proficient in managing budgets effectively.
  • Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in overseeing capital programs.
