Job Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring healthcare professional to join our team at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.

  • The role involves assisting Registered Nurses with daily care tasks, including administering medications, providing personal care, and participating in resident activities.
  • You will also contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control practices and reporting any concerns or incidents to the relevant authorities.
About This Opportunity
  • To be successful in this role, you will possess a Certificate III Aged Care (or equivalent) and have previous experience in residential care or a health service.
  • Alternatively, you may be undertaking and successfully completed the second semester of the second year of a pre-registration university program in a nursing qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements: It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
