This is a permanent full-time opportunity to provide clinical assessment, treatment and support to clients of the St. Vincent's integrated adult Mental Health Service (MHS) and their carers.
As a Recovery Focused Mental Health Practitioner, you will work within the Strengths Model of recovery-oriented practice, building therapeutic alliances with consumers and their families/carers, and conducting assessments, providing treatment, and delivering targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health needs.
You will have the opportunity to develop community mental health skills and experience in assessment, discipline-specific intervention, and case management for consumers with serious mental illness and complex needs.
- Develop your skills and experience in assessment, treatment and case management for consumers with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team operating under a recovery-oriented model.
- Division 3 or Division 1 Nurse with Psychiatric Endorsement from AHPRA.
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in mental health.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Post-graduate qualifications in relevant area (minimum Postgraduate Diploma for Nursing) are desirable.
