Job Title: Engineering AI Skills Leader

The organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of AI skills.

This role will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure engineers have access to the best training and development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in a similar role, good understanding of engineering skills development and training methodologies, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and experience working with Agile ways of working.

The successful candidate will work closely with the technology skilling team to ensure training programs are aligned with the goal of raising engineering skills, particularly in the use of AI.

The AI Skills Leader will also be responsible for maintaining a transparent skills curriculum, evaluating the effectiveness and relevance of current training, and making decisions to update, remove or improve content.

The role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AI Engineering skills: Work with the AI Powered Engineering squad to ensure engineers are embracing, learning and utilising AI tools
  • Skills-Driven Training: Promote and drive all engineering skills-driven training among engineers
  • Job Architecture: Ensure that job architecture is refreshed often to ensure alignment to best practice
  • Skills Framework Development: Maintain a transparent skills curriculum that guides engineers in their development
  • Training Collaboration: Work closely with the technology skilling team to ensure training programs are aligned with our goal of raising engineering skills, in particular the use of AI
  • Training content: Evaluate effectiveness and relevance of current training, and make decisions to update, remove or improve content
