As a medical practice manager, you will play a key role in leading our team of healthcare professionals. Our medical centre is committed to providing high-quality patient care and services.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to manage the day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional medical centre. This includes:

  • Managing reception team workflow, leading and supporting them to manage patient appointments, greet clients, take rebookings, and payments
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Billing procedures
  • Debt collections
  • Maintenance and security

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Operational management: Managing the smooth operation of the medical centre, including managing staff, patients, and facilities
  • Patient management: Ensuring all patient files and notes are secure and confidential
  • Staff management: Supporting and developing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent patient care
  • Environment: Creating a positive and engaging work environment for staff and patients alike

**Requirements**

  • Prior experience in medical practice management
  • Demonstrated people management skills
  • Experience with recruitment, staff training, and development
  • Thorough understanding of financial management of a medical business, including Medicare rebates
  • Experience with Best Practice (advantageous)
