We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Mental Health Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our community services team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health and disability needs to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing 1:1 or 2:1 support for consumers in residential, SIL, and community settings, meeting the consumers' needs according to established behavioural support plans, and developing professional relationships with consumers, their care team, and others in the community.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and disability needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Work Screening
