Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and experienced Secondary School Teachers to join our team at AIIC. As a Secondary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, assessing their progress, and providing feedback to parents and carers. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and carers
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs
  • Manage classroom routines and procedures
  • Report on student progress to parents and relevant stakeholders
  • Differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Facilitate and support faith-based lessons delivered by skilled staff
  • Attend meetings as required
Requirements
  • Hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • Hold a relevant recognized degree
  • Possess current knowledge of effective pedagogy
  • Have a responsive classroom management approach
  • Be eager to work in partnership with colleagues, students, and parents/carers in a professional learning community
  • Be able to creatively use ICT to enhance a rich learning environment
  • Possess a passion and enthusiasm to enrich children's learning
