Commercial Litigation Position

We are seeking an experienced lawyer with 2-3 years of post-admission experience in general commercial litigation to join our dispute resolution team.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced and interesting role that offers an exciting opportunity for a career-minded professional to progress their legal career in a supportive environment and a growing group, servicing quality clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients on a diverse range of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters including:

  • Contractual and commercial disputes;
  • Property and leasing disputes;
  • Corporations Act, including insolvency disputes;
  • Regulatory matters;
  • Insolvency and recoveries;
  • Information Technology and Intellectual Property.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advising, managing and progressing a diverse portfolio of disputes matters for clients.
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers and partners on strategy and advocacy.
  • Drafting pleadings, notices, and other court documents; conducting research and factual investigations.
  • Engaging with clients to understand objectives and provide practical solutions.
Requirements
  • Brisbane-based lawyer with 2-3 years of post-admission experience in general commercial litigation.
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters with supervision and progressively take more responsibility.
