Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bus Drivers. As a Bus Driver with Ventura Bus Lines, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all road rules and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers as needed.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A current Victorian MR or HR Licence is highly regarded.
- Heavy vehicle driving experience is highly regarded, but not completely essential as we do provide extensive and supportive driver training.
- Customer-focused individuals with the desire to provide assistance when required.
- A safe driving record.
- A high regard for safety, road rules, and regulations.
- The ability to obtain relevant medical and background clearances, including Driver's Accreditation (DC) and Working With Children Card (WWCC).
